Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: To Advance Education And Promote Mental Health And Wellbeing Among Journalists And Reporters With Experience Working In The Media Industry In The United Kingdom, For The Public Benefit, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By: 1. Providing Education, Information And Resources Relating To Mental Health And Wellbeing Within The Journalism Profession. 2. Delivering Training, Workshops, Seminars And Events Designed To Improve Understanding Of Mental Health Challenges Associated With Journalistic Work And To Develop Skills For Maintaining Wellbeing And Resilience. 3. Facilitating Access To Emotional Support Services, Including Support Provided Through Partnerships With Established Mental Health Charities. 4. Creating Supportive Communities And Opportunities For Peer Support Among Journalists Experiencing Occupational Stress, Trauma Or Mental Health Challenges.
