**Objects:** TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT CONSERVATION AND RESEARCH PROJECTS RELATING TO WILDLIFE AND THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT HELPING TO ACHIEVE THE MISSION OF PREVENTING SPECIES DECLINE AND MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS IN THE ZOOLOGICAL COLLECTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL WITH KEPT SPECIES TO REPRESENT A WIDE RANGE OF TAXA AND HABITATS.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND THE PROMOTION OF BIODIVERSITY, IN PARTICULAR BY, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION, SCIENTIFIC STUDY AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THREATENED ANIMALS, PLANTS AND THEIR HABITATS IN BOTH CAPTIVE AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
