Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Promote The Preservation Of Life And The Safety Of The Public Generally In One Or More Of The Following Ways;(1) By Providing Experience Of What IT Is Like To Be Treated As A Casualty By First Aiders, Emergency Service Personnel, And By Other Rescuers;(2) By Assisting In The Planning And Execution Of Lectures, Demonstrations And Competitions For Any Organisation Concerned For The Care Of Injured And Sick Individuals With The Proper Use Of The Individual To Simulate Illness And Injury;(3) By Providing Support For Training In The Simulation Of Injuries And Illnesses By Accurate Accounts Of Associated Symptoms And Realistic Representation Of Individuals? Reactions Both Mentally And Physically, Whether The Individual Is Representing Injury, Illness Or Neither;(4) By Testing Existing And New Methods Of Rescue From A Variety Of Vehicles, Modes Of Transport, Buildings And Other Structures, Whether Damaged Or Not;(5) By Providing Support Training In First Aid, Trauma Care, Rescue Techniques And Similar Activities, Including The Handling, Extrication And Transport Of The Injured Individual;(6) By Providing Support In The Planning And Realistic Staging Of Occurrences Which Could Have Injured The Individual;(7) By Developing Through Research And Experimentation The Technique Of Making Up Injuries And Of Staging Injuries Within A Variety Of Situations;(8) By Providing Support To Individuals In The Realistic Application Of Make-Up Of All Variety Of Injuries And Illnesses That Could Occur To The Human Body;(9) By Co-Operating And Assisting With Other Bodies Concerned With Preventing Accidents And Promotion Of Safety;(10) By Providing Made-Up Simulated Injuries And Illnesses On Casualties For Any Activity Supported By These Objectives.
