Activities
Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) mission is to achieve gender balance in the nuclear sector, by ensuring a diverse, inclusive and sustainable environment. Our vision is to help create a gender-balanced nuclear sector, where women are equally represented, empowered and influential at every level - driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. We do this through a wide range of initiatives.
Objects: 4.1 The Charity's Objects (The "Objects") Are, For The Public Benefit:4.1.1 The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity In The Nuclear Sector And Ancillary Fields Through In Particular, But Not Limited To, The Following Means:(a) Addressing The Nuclear Sector’s Gender Balance And Improving The Representation Of Women In Leadership Roles Within The Sector;(b) Conducting Or Commissioning Events To Foster Understanding Of The Contributions Of Women To The Nuclear Sector;(c) Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity In The Nuclear Sector;(d) Offering Leadership, Mentorship, Coaching, And Outreach Programmes To Promote Gender Balance In The Nuclear Sector;(e) The Advancement Of Education Relating To Nuclear Energy And Its Application And Ancillary Subjects; And(f) The Promotion Of Public Understanding Of Nuclear Sciences And The Impact On Society And The Environment.
