Catholics in Fundraising CIO supports fundraisers and charities, particularly those connected with the Catholic community, to be more effective, ethical and sustainable. We provide education, professional development, networking and leadership; promote best practice and compliance; commission and share research; and champion fundraising as a vocation for the public benefit.
Objects: The Objects Are For The Public Benefit: (1) To Advance Or Promote The Efficiency Of Organisations Established For Charitable Purposes (As Defined In Section 11 Of The Charities Act 2011), In Particular But Without Limitation Organisations Connected To Or Established For The Furtherance Of The Catholic Religion; (2) To Promote Higher Standards Of Administration And Fundraising For Charitable Purposes (As Defined In Section 11 Of The Charities Act 2011), In Particular But Without Limitation Those Carried Out By Organisations Connected To Or Established For The Furtherance Of The Catholic Religion; And (3) To Educate The Public In Relation To The Matters Referred To In (1) And (2).
