Objects: Thornaby Deaf Clubs Objectives Are To Relieve The Needs Of Deaf, Deafened And Deafblind People (In This Document Defined As Deaf) Who Live In Stockton And The Surrounding Areas In Ways Such As The Trustees See Fit Including By:to Promote The Social Wellbeing And Reduce Isolation Of Deaf People By Providing Regular, Accessible Social Opportunities.to Advance Inclusion And Community Cohesion By Creating A Welcoming And Culturally Appropriate Space Where Deaf People Can Meet, Communicate Freely, And Build Supportive Relationships.to Improve Mental Health And Emotional Wellbeing Through Consistent Social Interaction, Peer Support, Shared Activities And Community Engagement.to Support Equality Of Opportunity By Reducing Barriers To Participation In Community Life And Promoting Understanding Of Deaf Culture And Communication Needs.to Collaborate With Local Organisations And Services To Improve Access To Information, Advice, And Wider Community Opportunities For Deaf People.to Carry Out Such Other Charitable Activities As The Trustees May Determine, Provided That They Are Consistent With The Above Objects And For The Public Benefit.
