The support of Irish and GRT prisoners in English and Welsh prisons, their families and friends, along with wider support to those in need.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Relieve The Needs Of Irish Immigrants, People Of Irish Heritage, And Members Of The Gypsy, Roma And Traveller (Grt) Community Who Are In Prisons And Places Of Detention Across England And Wales, And Their Families, By: Providing Emotional, Pastoral And Practical Support, Including The Provision Of Small Grants.providing Advocacy Support To Facilitate Access To And Navigate Complex Systems, Including Access To Healthcare And Programmes To Assist With Reintegration Into Society Post Detention. Raising Awareness And Delivering Educational Initiatives Within Prisons And The Wider Community About Barriers Faced By This Community, Including Through The Commissioning Of Research.
