**Objects:** 1) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE WITH ILL MENTAL HEALTH (WHETHER CAUSED BY SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE, CHRONIC ILLNESS, DISEASE AND / OR DISABILITY), AND THEIR CARERS, WITHIN COASTAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THERAPEUTIC SESSIONS, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, INVOLVING MARITIME AND COASTAL THEMES.2) TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE IN COASTAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH MARITIME EDUCATIONAL, TRAINING AND RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES SO AS TO ADVANCE THEIR GENERAL EDUCATION AND DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.3) THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL MARINE AND COASTAL ENVIRONMENT BY PROMOTING BIODIVERSITY AND BY ASSISTING IN RESEARCH ACTIVITIES, ENSURING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF RESEARCH ARE DISSEMINATED.4) TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC AND TO PROMOTE THE SAVING OF LIVES BY ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL (AND PARTICULARLY AMONGST COASTAL COMMUNITIES) ON THE SUBJECT OF MARITIME SAFETY.
