Activities

We provide sensory therapeutic sessions for service users with disabilities and mental health challenges in a purpose-designed space led by experienced staff. We offer small groups, 1:1, holiday clubs, EOTAS and inclusive social and seasonal events. Our service provides respite for families while ensuring service users feel safe, engaged, supported and able to be themselves!

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:for The Public Benefit, To Relieve The Needs Of Children With Special Educational Needs Or Disabilities, Their Families And Carers, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Providing Respite Support For Parents And Carers Through The Delivery Of Structured, Supervised Services That Offer Temporary Relief From Caring Responsibilities And Promote Family Wellbeing.b) Providing Sensory And Therapeutic Activities For Children And Young People With Special Educational Needs Or Disabilities And Mental Health Challenges, Enabling Them To Explore Their Senses, Develop Independence, Engage In Peer Interaction, And Participate In Developmentally Appropriate Activities Within A Safe, Inclusive, And Supportive Environment.c) Offering Support Groups And Peer Support Opportunities For Parents, Carers, And Siblings, With The Aim Of Reducing Isolation, Improving Mental Health, And Strengthening Family Relationships.d) Providing Educational Sessions And Events, Including Guest Speaker-Led Activities, To Advance Understanding Of Disability-Related Issues And To Promote Awareness Of, And Access To, Relevant Support Services.e) Organising Assisted Family Outings And Inclusive Community Activities, Supported By Appropriately Trained Staff And Volunteers, To Enable Participation Regardless Of Individual Needs Or Abilities.f) Providing Financial Assistance Or Subsidised Services To Families Experiencing Financial Hardship And Offering Practical Support To Assist Families In Accessing Grants Or Statutory Funding.
