Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is To Advance Education For The Public Benefit In The Intellectual Concepts Developed By The Late Professor Tony Allan (such As ‘virtual Water’), In Particular In The Subjects Of Water Use And Water Scarcity In Agriculture, Climate And Biodiversity Science By:(a) Making Some Of Professor Allan’s Scholarly Work Available To The Public;(b) Convening Annual Workshops To Discuss New Trends, Water And Food Security; And(c) The Provision Of A Travel Bursary Which Will Be Advertised For Postgraduate Students At The University Of London Conducting Research On Agricultural Water Management, Transboundary Water Relations In River Basins, Virtual Water, And The Political Economy Of Water And Food.
