The charity exists to maintain and develop a church building as a welcoming, inclusive space for the community of Bodmin.The building will be used for a range of community-based activities designed to promote social connection, reduce isolation and support emotional and mental wellbeing. This will include providing a safe and accessible space for community groups.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Christian Faith By Providing Regular Church Services Including Marriages And Funerals Such Facilities Being Available For All Members Of The Public; And(2) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Bodmin And The Neighbourhood (?the Area Of Benefit?) Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants And To Establish Or To Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (?the Centre?) And To Maintain And Manage Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The CIO.
