**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 WITH DISABILITIES AND ADDITIONAL NEEDS, LIVING AND/OR ACCESSING SEND SERVICES IN SHROPSHIRE AND THEIR PARENT AND FAMILY CARERS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: • THE CREATION OF A SHROPSHIRE PARENT/FAMILY CARER COMMUNITY THAT REDUCES ISOLATION AND STRENGTHENS THE CAPACITY OF PARENTS/FAMILY CARERS TO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILY; • THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION TO INFORM AND EMPOWER PARENTS/FAMILY CARERS ABOUT THE SERVICES AND ISSUES THAT AFFECT THEIR FAMILIES; • THE PROVISION OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS/FAMILY CARERS TO INFLUENCE THE DECISIONS THAT AFFECT THEIR FAMILIES AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO DEVELOPING SERVICES THAT MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR FAMILIES.

**Activities:** The charity provides conferences, training, social activities and support to SEND families in Shropshire to address isolation and help parent carers understand the SEND system and support services and share experiences and contribute to the design of local SEND strategy and services. The charity also offers community-based activities for young people with SEND that support health and wellbeing.
