**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN SPORT, HEALTHY RECREATION AND LEISURE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING TO ELIMINATE DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEX OR GENDER, AND TO INCREASE THE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN AND GIRLS WITHIN WALES BY:A) WORKING WITH EXISTING ORGANISATIONS ON COMPLEMENTARY, SYSTEM-WIDE COLLABORATION TO CREATE A NATIONWIDE NETWORK FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN WOMEN’S SPORT IN WALES, IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE VOICE ADVOCATING, PROMOTING AND CHAMPIONING THE WOMEN’S SPORT AGENDA AND ADVANCING GENDER EQUALITY IN WALES.B) CELEBRATING THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND SUCCESS OF ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SPORT, AND ACTIVELY PROMOTING THEIR ACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES ACROSS WALES.C) ADVOCATING FOR GENDER EQUALITY IN SPORT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN WALES.
