Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are 1. To Promote And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of The Public Through Engagement With Nature-Based Activities And Outdoor Recreation. 2. To Advance The Education Of Young People, In Particular Those Not In Education, Employment Or Training (Neet), Through Outdoor Learning, Personal Development And Engagement With The Natural Environment. 4. To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation For The Public At Large Or For Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances, In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
