Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:3.1 To Advance Education In The Art Of Music By Supporting Emerging Artists In Financial Need,and In Particular But Not Exclusively Those Aged 18-30, Through The Provision Of:3.1.1 Grants Of Financial Assistance To Enable Them To Purchase Musical Instruments, Rent Practice Space And Pursue Their Musical Education Through Study At A Professional Specialist Establishment Or With Professional Musicians;3.1.2 Such Opportunities, Mentoring, Guidance And Support Considered Necessary And Appropriate To Prepare Them For Entry Into Careers As Professional Artists.3.2 The Relief Of Need, And The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health By Providing Grants To Charities And Not-For-Profit Organisations That Deliver Music Therapy To Individuals Affected By Physical Or Mental Disability, Learning Difficulties, Or Other Forms Of Social Disadvantage, Where Music Therapy May Have A Beneficial Impact.
