Activities
We support dads, male carers, and grandads raising children with additional needs, disabilities, or complex medical conditions across North Yorkshire and the East Riding. We provide safe, supportive spaces to improve mental health and reduce isolation through regular meetups, community breakfast gatherings, social and recreational activities, and signposting to specialist mental health support.
Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of Male Carers And Dads Of Children And Young People With Complex Medical Needs, Disabilities And Additional Needs And Fathers Generally Who Are Experiencing Or At Risk Of Poor Mental Health Living In North Yorkshire And East Riding, Primarily But Not Exclusively Through:a) Providing Opportunities And Activities Directed To Sharing Experiences, Accessing Peer And Practical Support;b) Recreational Activities Directed To Supporting Good Mental Health;c) Signposting To Appropriate Mental Health Support When Appropriate And Counselling Organisations When Appropriate.
