Activities

Birmingham Hub supports local people and families experiencing poverty, hardship and social disadvantage. We provide practical assistance, food and essential supplies, community support, educational activities and signposting to relevant services. We work with local communities and partner organisations across Birmingham to improve wellbeing, reduce hardship and promote inclusion.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit In Birmingham And Yemen, Are: 1) The Relief Of Those In Need, By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Economic Or Social Disadvantage Through The Provision Of Grants, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/or Charities, Or Other Organisations, Working To Assist Such Individuals. 2) The Promotion Of Social Inclusion By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society.for The Purpose Of This Clause ‘Socially Excluded’ Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Part Of Society, As A Result Of Being A Member Of A Socially And Economically Deprived Community
