**Objects:** TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRACTICAL SYSTEMS FOR PEOPLE WITH DAMAGE TO THE SPINAL CORD BY THE USE OF THE LATEST ADVANCES IN ELECTRONIC, MECHANICAL, AND MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

**Activities:** INSPIRE funds medical research into eliminating the effects of spinal cord injury, such as bladder/bowel problems, muscle spasms, spinal pain, pressure sores and lack of movement.  INSPIRE works with leading universities and spinal units to fund their research and help the UK's spinal cord injured population.
