Activities

Living Like Linda promotes social inclusion and wellbeing for mostly elderly, cancer patients on long term chemotherapy treatments. It does this by organising outings and social events that may otherwise not be possible for patients because of financial, loneliness or transport and logistical barriers. It provides small gift boxes of some basic needs to patients and encourages togetherness.

Objects: To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit, Primarily Amongst People Aged 65 And Over Who Are Socially Excluded As A Result Of Old Age, Financial Hardship, Ill Health (physical Or Mental) Or Disability, By Preventing Such People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: Providing Outings And Social Trips Including Transport To And From Home; Facilitating Mindfulness Sessions And Other Group Support Activities; Providing Creative Workshops And Organising Live Music Events.
