Activities
EmpowHer Rebuild Initiative supports disabled women, particularly single mothers, across Manchester and the UK. We deliver wellbeing support, skills training, mentoring, and community programmes to reduce isolation, improve confidence, and promote independence, social inclusion, and long-term resilience.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Public Benefit Of Disabled Women In Manchester And Throughout The United Kingdom: -1. To Relieve The Needs Of Disabled Women Who Are Experiencing Financial Hardship Or Who Are Socially / Economically Disadvantaged By Providing Tailored Practical Support, Access To Essential Services, Education And Personal Development, In Particular But Not Exclusively Single Mothers, By Delivering Skills Training, Mentoring Programmes, And Capacity-Building Initiatives That Promote Independence, Self-Confidence, And Long-Term Resilience; And 2. To Promote Social Inclusion For Disabled Women Who Are Socially Excluded Due To Their Disability, By Facilitating Inclusive Community Programmes, Peer Support Networks, And Engagement Opportunities That Reduce Isolation And Foster Belonging.3. To Preserve And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of Disabled Women Through Awareness Campaigns, Therapeutic Workshops, And Signposting To Relevant Healthcare And Support Services. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
