**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE PROMOTION OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR THE ART OF MUSIC FOR PUPILS IN SCHOOLS* IN THE BOROUGH OF HARINGEY:(1) BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY TO ASSIST THE MUSICAL EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN SCHOOLS AND IN MUSIC GROUPS PROMOTED BY HARINGEY MUSIC SERVICE; (2) BY PROMOTING PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF MUSIC AND THE PERFORMING ARTS; (3) IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SEE FIT. *PUPILS IN SCHOOLS INCLUDES PUPILS IN THE PERIOD UP TO AND INCLUDING 31ST AUGUST IN THE SCHOOL YEAR IN WHICH THEY TURN 18.

**Activities:** The objects of the CIO are for the promotion of the performing arts and in particular music for pupils in schools in the London Borough of Haringey, by providing financial and other support to assist the musical education of pupils in schools and music groups promoted by Haringey Music Service.
