**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE BRANCH ARE TO PROMOTE THE WORK AND OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, IN THE AREA, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICIES OF THE SOCIETY.(THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY (AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME) ARE "TO PROMOTE KINDNESS AND TO PREVENT OR SUPPRESS CRUELTY TO ANIMALS".)

**Activities:** Our Branch takes in rescued animals, fosters, and rehomes them. We offer assistance  for emergency treatment as well as assistance with neutering. We provide a microchipping service and, where possible, collaborate with other local charities and food banks (for animal food) in helping with the welfare of animals. To help with raising funds, we manage two charity shops (Ampthill & Hitchin).
