Activities

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Advance The Education For The Public Benefit Of Children And Young People Of The Ukrainian Community By Providing Additional Support With The Ukainian Language, Culture, History And Local Traditions.(2) To Relieve The Needs Of Those Seeking Temporary Asylum Or Those Granted Refugee Status As A Result Of The Ukraine Conflict, In The Medway Council District, Through The Provision Of Services And Items, Such As, Translation Support, Advice And Guidance And Food Sustenance, So As To Help Them Adapt To Life Within Their New Community And To Ensure That A Basic Standard Of Living Is Met.(3) For The Public Benefit, To Promote Social Inclusion Among All Ukrainians, Including Refugees And Displaced People, In The Community Of North Lincolnshire & Surrounding Areas Of Ukrainian Heritage, Who Are Socially Excluded Due To Their Financial Hardship, Poverty, Or Social And Economic Disadvantage, Through:a) Providing Practical Support Services And Other Related Activities To Assist With Adapting Within A New Community;b) Signposting To Appropriate Organisations When Required;c) Providing Activities And Platforms Connected To Ukrainian Culture, Heritage, And Traditions, Designed To Enable Interaction And Integration With The Local Community;d) Provision Of Essential Items That They Could Not Otherwise Afford;e) Providing Social And Recreational Events Between Ukrainians And The Local Population;f) Such Other Ways As The Trustees May Determine.
