OBJECTS THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION ON THE WORK OF THE ARTIST SIDNEY COOPER, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:3.1. EDUCATING AND ENCOURAGING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN THE ENJOYMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS;3.2. MAINTAINING AND OPERATING AN ART GALLERY AND ARTS SPACE KNOWN AS THE SIDNEY COOPER ARTS CENTRE;3.3. DISPLAYING WORKS BY ARTISTS, INCLUDING SIDNEY COOPER, AT SAID GALLERY AND ELSEWHERE;3.4. EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON THE LIFE, WORK AND LEGACY OF SIDNEY COOPER;3.5. PROVIDING BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS TO SUPPORT YOUNG AND ASPIRING ARTISTS; AND3.6. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE OBJECTS ABOVE AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE, PROVIDED THAT SUCH PURPOSES SHALL BE OF AN EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE NATURE.

**Activities:** To promote and advance the arts for the public benefit and to advance education on the work of the artist Thomas Sidney Cooper by encouraging people in the enjoyment and participation in the arts and operating an arts space, alongside providing financial awards to support aspiring artists.
