**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF THE PUBLIC IN TORBAY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS, THROUGH PROMOTING ACTIVE, SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE TRAVEL, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:A) FACILITATING AND SUPPORTING ACCESS TO PHYSICALLY ACTIVE AND SAFE MEANS OF TRANSPORT AND ENCOURAGING BEHAVIOURAL AND CULTURAL CHANGE AROUND LOCAL TRAVEL, PARTICULARLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE; B) EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN SUBJECTS RELATING TO ACTIVE TRANSPORT AND ITS BENEFITS INCLUDING ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF USING SUSTAINABLE MODES OF TRANSPORT AND REDUCING RELIANCE ON PRIVATE MOTOR VEHICLES; C) IMPROVING ACCESS TO SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL OPTIONS AND ADVOCATING FOR BARRIER-FREE, ACCESSIBLE INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES; D) CONTRIBUTING TO LOCAL PLANNING AND INFRASTRUCTURE DECISIONS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THEY SUPPORT ENCOURAGE ACTIVE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS AND THE ASSOCIATED BENEFITS TO THE ENVIRONMENT;

**Activities:** Safe, Sustainable Travel Torbay improves transport options in Torbay to support public health, children and young people, and equitable access for all. We promote safer streets, active travel and inclusive infrastructure through campaigning, partnership working, community engagement and practical activities that enable healthier, more independent everyday journeys.
