**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS FROM BACKGROUNDS CURRENTLY UNDER-REPRESENTED IN THE FIELD OF GRAPHIC DESIGN WHO ARE STUDYING ART, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY GRAPHIC DESIGN, BY: - PROVIDING GRANTS TO COVER TUITION, RESOURCES, ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT AND RELATED EXPENSES; AND - PROVIDING ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND MENTORING THROUGHOUT THEIR STUDIES AND AIDING IN SECURING INTERNSHIPS WITHIN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INDUSTRY.FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE ‘UNDER-REPRESENTED’ REFERS TO INDIVIDUALS FROM MINORITY ETHNIC GROUPS AND LOWER SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS.

**Activities:** The FUTURE FWD scholarship has been created to advance equality and inclusion in graphic design education. The £30,000 scholarship provides material costs and living expenses for a student studying Graphic Design, as well as access to mentorship throughout their course and a paid internship opportunity with one of the studios who support the scholarship.
