We provide a space where men can come together and work on woodworking projects improving skills, mental health and any feelings of loss or social isolation they may have via physical interaction with others of a similar age .

Objects: The Objectives Of The CIO Are To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society By Providing An Opportunity To Mix With Like-Minded Men In A Safe Space Offering Peer Support, Companionship, Social Interaction And The Opportunity To Utilise Existing Skills And Learn New Ones, With A Particular Focus On Men Over The Age Of 50 Who Live In The Bassetlaw General Area.for The Purpose Of This Clause ‘Socially Excluded’ Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors: Bereavement, Physical And Mental Health Issues, Their Age, Gender, Financial Or Social Circumstances.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act Northern Ireland 2008.
