**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:-FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT,1. TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH, AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS, OF PEOPLE WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM CONDITIONS (ASCS), THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN BOLTON AND BURY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS (THE AREA OF BENEFIT), THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE, AND PROVIDING INFORMATION AND EDUCATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO ASCS.2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF PEOPLE WITH ASCS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, PRIMARILY THROUGH:- PRACTICAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE WITH RECEIVING THE CORRECT WELFARE BENEFIT ENTITLEMENTS:- PROJECTS THAT BUILD SKILLS AND INCREASE ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT;- SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.

**Activities:** BAAS is a grassroots charity supporting autistic adults and unpaid carers across Bolton and Bury through the provision of:-An autism focussed adult specific Befriending Service;Social and Life Skills Group Events;Disability Welfare Benefits Advocacy;Employment Advocacy and Support;Carers Only Support Group;Autism Awareness Training;Student Work Placement Provider.
