Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit, The Relief Of Poverty Intanzania And The Advancement Of Education, Training And Healthcare, Inparticular But Not Exclusively Among Communities Such As The Maasai,by Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Essential Resources, Projectsand Support Designed To Enable Families To Generate A Sustainableincome And Achieve Self-Sufficiency.the Charity’s Activities May Be Focused On Communities Such As Themaasai In Tanzania Where This Is A Proportionate Means Of Achieving Thecharity’s Charitable Purposes. These Communities Experience Specificand Significant Disadvantages Compared With Other Local Populations,including Limited Access To Clean Drinking Water, Basic Healthcare,sanitation, Education And Essential Infrastructure. Restricting Certainactivities To These Communities Is Therefore Justified As IT Addresses Thesespecific Disadvantages And Provides Targeted Support Where The Need Isgreatest. This Restriction Is A Fair, Balanced And Reasonable Way Ofachieving A Legitimate Aim And Is Compliant With The Equality Act 2010And The Public Benefit Requirement.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Propertyof The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With[section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005]And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
