Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: 1) To Advance The Orthodox Christian Faith In Kent And The Surrounding Area In Accordance With The Doctrines And Canons Of The Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate And Under The Spiritual Jurisdiction Of The Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese Of Great Britain And Northern Ireland, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: • Providing A Place Of Worship And Religious Community Life.• Promoting Understanding Of Orthodox Christian Belief And Practice; And• Carrying Out Pastoral, Missionary, And Charitable Outreach Work. 2) To Advance Education In Accordance With Christian Values, By Providing Or Supporting Educational Programmes And Activities That Promote Moral And Spiritual Development For Children And Adults. 3) To Promote Cultural Understanding By Encouraging Appreciation Of Romanian And Other Orthodox Christian Traditions Within The Wider Local Community.4) To Relieve Poverty, Hardship, Or Distress Among Those In Need Within The Community. 5) To Pursue Such Other Exclusively Charitable Purposes According To The Law Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine, Consistent With The Above Aims.
