We preserve Trefan Morys, the former home and library of Jan Morris, as a place of literary and cultural significance. We host residencies, workshops, exhibitions and public programmes, support writers and artists, and promote Welsh arts, heritage and education locally, nationally and internationally

Objects: For The Public Benefit To Advance The Art, Culture And Heritage Of Wales In Particular By: I. Promoting Knowledge, Appreciation And Understanding Of The Life And Works Of Jan Morris Including The Preservation And Protection Of Her Former Home And Library At Trefan Morys, Llanystumdwy (Known As A Writer’s House In Wales) And Its Contents And Items Of Historical, Literary, Artistic And Cultural Significance; Ii. Organising And Hosting Artistic And Educational Events; Iii. Providing A Dedicated Space For Writers, Scholars And Artists To Undertake Research, Develop Creative Work, And Collaborate, With The Aim Of Fostering Creativity That Reflects, Enriches And Promotes Welsh Cultural Identity And Its Contribution To Global Culture; Iv. Facilitate Public Tours, Talks And Cultural Programmes To Promote Public Appreciation Of Literary, Artistic And Cultural Traditions Of Wales Within An International Context; V. Provide Facilities, Resources And Opportunities For Writers, Researchers, Artists And The General Public To Engage In The Study, Practice And Appreciation Of Literature, Creative Writing And The Creative Arts, With Particular Emphasis On The Welsh Language And Cultural Heritage
