Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The CIO Are Restricted Specifically, In Each Case Only For The Public Benefit, To:3.1.1 The Provision And Maintenance Of Homes Within The Town Of Woodbridge (The Homes) For The Benefit Of Persons Who Are Or Have Been Resident In The Town Of Woodbridge And Are In Need By Reason Of Age, Ill-Health, Or Disability (The Beneficiaries);3.1.2 In So Far As The Charity Trustees Shall In Their Absolute Discretion Think Fit, The Provision Of Ancillary Equipment, Facilities And Services (The Facilities) For The Beneficiaries At The Homes; And3.1.3 Such Other Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Beneficiaries In Assisting Them To Enjoy The Facilities As The Charity Trustees May From Time To Time Decide.3.2 In Furtherance Of The Objects, The CIO May Take Over And Manage The Endowment Fund Of The Unincorporated Charitable Trust Known As The Sybil Carthew Trust (The Predecessor To The CIO) In Accordance With The Original Objects Set Out In Clause 8(4) The Will Of Sybil Lilian Carthew Dated 15 August 1961.
