Survivors Can Shine works to empower and protect children and young people by providing a range of services and support and raising awareness of adverse childhood experiences.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out For The Public Benefit In Such Parts Of The UK As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Decide, Are:(1) To Act As A Resource For Children And Young People Aged Up To 30, Including But Not Limited To Those From Economically And Socially Disadvantaged Backgrounds, Who Have Experienced Or Are At Risk Of Experiencing Childhood Abuse, Childhood Trauma Or Adverse Childhood Experiences (aces) By Providing Advice, Mentoring, Support, Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Arts, Educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:(a)advancing In Life And Helping Them By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;(b) Advancing Education;(c) Preserving And Protecting Good Health;(d) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare With A View To Improving Their Conditions Of Life.(2) To Advance Public Education In, And Raise Awareness Of, Childhood Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (aces) And Children’s Rights Through The Provision Of Events, Workshops And Educational Resources.
