**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARETO RELIEVE THE NEED AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS AFFECTED BY ORTHOSTATIC TREMOR ACROSS THE UK FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:(1) PROVIDING ACTIVE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THOSE DIAGNOSED WITH ORTHOSTATIC TREMOR OFFERING THEM FRIENDSHIP, REASSURANCE AND REDUCING THEIR SOCIAL ISOLATION.(2) RAISING AWARENESS OF THE PROGRESSIVE DISABLING NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION OF ORTHOSTATIC TREMOR.(3) PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORTHOSTATIC TREMOR WITHIN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AND SUPPORT SERVICES.(4) ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND POTENTIAL TREATMENTS OF ORTHOSTATIC TREMOR.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.

**Activities:** Orthostatic Tremor (OT) is a rare and poorly understood disorder. Our annual conference and local social groups provide opportunities for those diagnosed with Orthostatic Tremor to meet others for mutual support and advice on coping with it. We keep them informed through our Facebook page, newsletters, website and a Members Booklet, and information leaflets to raise awareness of OT.
