Activities

Amazing Grace International supports homeless people, refugees and asylum seekers in the UK by relieving poverty and improving wellbeing. The charity provides food banks, hot meals, housing support, advice, mental health and wellbeing support, skills training, employability workshops and practical guidance to help individuals rebuild stability and independence.

Objects: 1.the Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty Or Financial Hardship In The United Kingdom And Overseas, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: A) Providing Grants, Items, And Services Such As Food And Clothing To Individuals In Need; B) Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education, Skills Training, And All The Necessary Support Designed To Enable Individuals To Generate A Sustainable Income And Be Self-Sufficient. 2.to Advance The Education Of The Public Benefit, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: A) Promoting The Education (including Social And Physical Training) Of Children And Young People By Providing After-School And Holiday Clubs And Other Leisure-Time Activities; B) Providing Educational Workshops And Short Courses To Develop The Skills And Capabilities Of Individuals Who Are Unemployed Or In Financial Hardship. 3.to Relieve The Needs Of Refugees And Asylum Seekers And To Assist Their Integration Into Society, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: A) Providing Advice, Advocacy, And Practical Support; B) Providing Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008.
