Gurdwara Sahib Banbury advances the Sikh faith in Banbury and the surrounding area. It provides regular congregational worship, Gurbani Kirtan, religious services, Gurmat education for children and adults, and opportunities to learn about Sikhi. The charity provides Langar (free community meals) and supports the local community through charitable, educational and community activities.

Objects: To Advance The Sikh Faith For The Public Benefit In Banbury And Surrounding Areas, In Accordance With The Teachings Of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji And Sikh Principles, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:• Operating As A Gurdwara (Sikh Place Of Worship)• Holding Regular Services, Discourses, And Educational Programs To Promote Sikh Teachings• Observing Religious Practices In Accordance With The Historical Sikh Traditions Upheld By The Central Sikh Authority, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Whilst Maintaining Openness And Respect For All Individuals And Recognised Traditions Within The Sikh Faith• Conducting Sikh Religious Ceremonies Including Weddings, Funerals, And Birth Naming• Celebrating Sikh Festivals And Religious Events• Providing Education In Sikh Religious Teaching, Sikh History, Punjabi Language, Kirtan (Sikh Music), And Traditional Sikh Martial Arts• Supporting The Mental, Physical, And General Well-Being Of The Congregation And Wider Community In Line With Sikh Teachings• Advocacy And Raising Awareness Of Issues Affecting The Sikh Community In Accordance With Charitable Purposes
