**Objects:** THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CIO ARE;THE PREVENTION OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE AFFECTED BY PROSTATE CANCER IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY;(1) THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE AT ALL STAGES OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT.(2) RAISING AWARENESS OF PROSTATE CANCER AND THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DIAGNOSIS TO OBTAIN THE BEST HEALTH OUTCOMES.(3) ADVOCATING AND SUPPORT FOR UK CHARITIES UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO OR CARRYING OUT THE DIAGNOSIS OR TREATMENT OF PROSTATE CANCER

**Activities:** We are a support group for men diagnosed with or suffering from Prostate Cancer, and their partners. We do this through regular group meetings, a monthly pint and a chat evening as well as a buddying service.
