Activities
Promote social inclusion and wellbeing of socially excluded people in England, particularly members of the Eritrean community. We provide advocacy, workshops, forums, English language and skills training, employment support, cultural, educational and community events, and work with service providers to improve access to services and help people integrate into society.
Objects: To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Working With People In England Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Ethnic Origin, Immigration Status, Language, Social And Economic Position (In Particular, Members Of The Eritrean Community) To Relieve The Needs Of Such People And Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular By: A/ Increasing Or Co-Ordinating Opportunities For Members Of The Eritrean Community To Engage With Service Providers, To Enable Those Providers To Adapt Services To Better Meet The Needs Of That Community. B/ Promoting Educational, Training, Social And Recreational Events Involving The Local Community. C/ Building People’s Knowledge And Confidence In Their Own Cultural Heritage And Its Potential Contribution To A Multi-Cultural Society. D/ Promoting Education And Training In The English Language And Vocational Skills. E/ Tackling Unemployment, Alleviating Financial Hardship, Discrimination, Relationship And Family Breakdowns Usually Due To Migration And Distance. F/ Providing Workshops, Forums, Advocacy And General Support.
