Activities

We advance arts and education for children and young people by staging concerts and outreach workshops, providing mentoring, and awarding grants/bursaries to individuals and charities. We also support projects that relieve hardship for children in the UK and overseas.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:(1) To Act As A Resource For Young People Aged 30 And Under, Resident In London And Such Other Parts Of The UK As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Decide, By Providing Advice, Guidance, Mentoring And Support And Organising Programmes Of Educational And Other Activities As A Meansof:a) Advancing In Life And Helping Young People By Developing Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b) Advancing Their Education In The Arts And Supporting Them In Preparing For Careers In The Arts Industries;c) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare With A View To Improving Their Conditions Of Life.(2) To Further Such Purposes As May Be Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees See Fit From Time To Time, In Particular But Not Exclusively Those Focussed On Advancing Young People In Life, Relieving Need Among Children And Young People And Advancing The Education Of Young People In The Arts, Through The Making Of Grants To Individuals, Charities And Voluntary Organisations In Such Parts Of The World As The Trustees Shall From Time To Time Decide.
