Activities

Swansea Veterans Hub CIO support veterans, serving personnel, reservists and families across Swansea through drop ins, wellbeing support, signposting, social connection and access to a safe, warm, non judgemental space. We provide guidance on welfare, housing, employment, mental health and community engagement in partnership with local organisations.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:- For The Benefit Of The Publica) The Relief Of Need Among Armed Forces Veterans And Their Families, Including Reservists, Serving Forces Families, LGBTQ+ Veterans, And Blue Light Workers, In Swansea And The Surrounding Area, By Providing:(i) Support For The Transition From Military To Civilian Life;(ii) Assistance With Mental Health And Well-Being;(iii) Support Into Employment, Housing, And Financial Stability;(iv) Relief Of Social Isolation Through Community Engagement And Peer Support;(v) Signposting To Appropriate Statutory And Voluntary Services.b) The Relief Of Need Among People Who Are Homeless Or Otherwise Vulnerable In Swansea And Surrounding Areas, By Providing A Safe, Warm, And Welcoming Space Throughout The Year For Those In Need, Including Access To Hot And Cold Food And Beverages, Support And Advice.
