Objects: The Objects Of The CIO, To Be Carried Out Within The Parish Of Overton And Its Surrounding Areas, Are: (1) To Advance The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Natural And Physical Environment And The Prudent Use Of Natural Resources For The Benefit Of The Public Through Promotion, Awareness Raising And Skill Sharing To Build Community Resilience To Combat Climate Change And Resource Scarcity, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: (A) The Promotion And Encouragement Of Practices And That Reduce Waste And Minimise Pollution; (B) Undertaking Initiatives That Promote Recycling And Reuse, Energy Efficiency, Biodiversity And Preserve And Protect Wildlife Habitats And Green Spaces; (C) Encouraging Practices That Foster Sustainable Use Of Scarce Resources And Environmentally Sustainable Living.(2) To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment And In Topics Related To Climate Change, Recycling, Waste Reduction And Environmentally Sustainable Living Practices.
