**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO AREFOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN ATTENDING SCHOOLS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES BY MEANS OF: - PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROVIDING FREE GOMOKU BOARDS TO SCHOOLS AND DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ALLOW EDUCATORS TO USE THE GAME OF GOMOKU TO BOOST PUPIL ATTAINMENT; - PROMOTING AND CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE IMPACT OF EDUCATIONAL GAMES AND RESOURCES ON LEARNING OUTCOMES AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS.

**Activities:** The Opal Project provides Gomoku boards to schools to enhance learning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We also conduct research on the role of games in education, exploring how playful learning can improve attainment and engagement. We work with schools, youth centres etc to integrate game-based approaches into everyday teaching and activities.
