Responding to 999 calls on behalf of East Midlands Ambulance Service, in advance of other emergency resources. Providing life-saving care to patients who may be critically ill or injured. Providing training to members of the public on how to perform CPR, use an AED and basic first aid. Supporting the wider deployment of public AEDs within Derby City and the surrounding area.
Objects: The Protection And Preservation Of Human Life And The Relief Of Sickness In Persons Within The Derby City And Derbyshire Area In Partnership With East Midlands Ambulance Service By:providing Volunteer First Responders Administering Emergency Medical Care Including But Not Limited To Defibrillation, Cpr And Other Life-Saving Interventions In Accordance With Their Training;raising Awareness Of And Providing Training In Defibrillation, Cpr And Other Life-Saving Interventions To Individuals And Communities Within The Area Of Benefit
