**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, ON THE WIRRAL PENINSULA AND SURROUNDING AREA: 1)THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE AND GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF IMMEDIATE MEDICAL CARE TO ANY PERSON INVOLVED IN ANY MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR INJURED IN ANY ACCIDENT IN THE WIRRAL PENINSULA AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS DIRECTED BY THE NORTH WEST AMBULANCE SERVICE NHS TRUST UNTIL THE ARRIVAL OF AN AMBULANCE OR FIRST RESPONSE VEHICLE. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN THE WIRRAL PENINSULA AND SURROUNDING AREAS IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, INCLUDING CARDIO-PULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) AND THE USE OF AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED).

**Activities:** North West First Responder Group are trained volunteers working with North West Ambulance Service to provide rapid care in life-threatening emergencies across the North West of England. We attend 999 calls, deliver early interventions, support patients and families, promote defibrillator awareness, and train volunteers, helping to save lives and strengthen community resilience.
