**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE CONSERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE HISTORIC SITE AND GARDENS AT CRESSING TEMPLE AND THE PROMOTION OF THEIR USE BY THE PUBLIC, THROUGH THE ACTIVITIES OF A GROUP OF FRIENDS.

**Activities:** To conserve, enhance and develop the buildings, gardens, farm equipment and the historic site at Cressing Temple, as a unique historical, social, horticultural and educational record and resource; and to support the site owners Essex County Council in this objective, for the benefit of the people of Essex.
