**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ARTISTIC TASTE AND KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS IN ALL ITS ASPECTS, BY PROVIDING EXHIBITIONS AND PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF WORK OF A HIGH STANDARD, IN PARTICULAR THAT PRODUCED BY REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS IN THE UK.(2) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS.

**Activities:** To advance public understanding and appreciation of the arts by supporting, producing and promoting refugee, asylum-seeking and exiled artists across the UK. To create opportunities to ensure their contributions are welcomed, and collect and share work through the Sanctuary Art Collection to promote equality, diversity and cross-cultural understanding.
