Activities
Havenswood Trust supports neurodivergent children, young people, and adults, and their families. We provide inclusive education, family support, and community activities that reduce isolation and promote wellbeing. Our work is rooted in kindness, respect, and the belief that every individual has the potential to thrive and lead a productive and meaningful life.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1.to Advance The Education Of Neurodivergent Children, Young People, And Adults, And Those With Related Support Needs, For The Public Benefit By Providing Inclusive, Accessible, And Person-Centred Learning Environments, Including (but Not Limited To) The Operation Of A School, Educational Programmes, Therapeutic Learning Opportunities, And Support For Families And Educators.2.to Promote The Relief, Care And Support Of Children, Young People And Adults Who Are Neurodivergent Or Otherwise Disabled, And Their Families And Carers, In Such Ways As The Trustees See Fit, Including (but Not Limited To) The Provision Of Respite Care, Therapeutic Support, Education, And Community-Based Services.3.to Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People Who Are Neurodivergent Or Similarly Disabled, And Their Families, From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society. This Includes (but Is Not Limited To) Providing Access To Inclusive Education, Peer Support, Community Spaces, Therapeutic Services, And Family Support. For The Purpose Of This Clause, Being Socially Excluded Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society And The Ability To Live A Full And Dignified Life, Due To Factors Such As Disability, Neurodivergent Related Conditions, Poor Mental Health, Lack Of Access To Suitable Education And Inadequate Support Services.4.to Promote The Health And Wellbeing Of Neurodivergent Children, Young People, Adults, And Their Families By Providing Access To Therapeutic, Emotional, Educational, And Social Support Services, Including Counselling, Sensory Regulation Support, Advocacy, And Activities That Enhance Mental And Physical Wellbeing.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
