ACCESS TO FREE OR SUBSIDISED HEALTHCARE SERVICES.4. DISTRIBUTING MOBILITY AIDS

Objects: 1) To advance the education of children in Cameroon, with a focus on those affected by displacement due to civil armed conflicts and/or poverty/financial hardship through assisting in the provision of grants for school supplies, including uniforms, books and education materials and to ensure consistent access to education.2) To relieve sickness and to promote and protect good health among individuals in need, with a particular focus on women, children under the age of five, and internally displaced populations in Cameroon, primarily but not exclusively by providing grants to St Charles Medical Foundation and St. Charles Clinic in Cameroon to assist with the provision of:(a) access to free or subsidised healthcare services, including essential surgical interventions; (b) offering preventative healthcare programs, such as screening for diabetes, breast cancer and cervical cancer; (c) distributing mobility aids to individuals with physical disabilities, enabling greater independence and improving quality of life; (d) delivering nutritional support to patients in need during medical treatment; (e) organising free antenatal healthcare campaigns to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.3) To relieve financial hardship and to promote and protect good health for the public benefit among vulnerable people in the United Kingdom, with particular (but not exclusive) regard to homeless individuals, people with physical disabilities and the elderly, in particular but not exclusively by:(a) providing food, clothing and nutritional support to homeless individuals; (b) distributing mobility aids to individuals with physical disabilities; (c) assisting elderly and disabled individuals with shopping and other daily living activities.
