Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Promote The Arts, Culture And Heritage Of Camden’s African And Caribbean British Communities By Documenting, Establishing And Maintaining Archives That Capture Oral Histories, Photographs, And Artefacts From Black British Communities In Camden, Preserving Them As Part Of The Borough’s Collective Memory And Safeguarding The History, Traditions, And Contributions Of Camden’s African And Caribbean British Communities, Ensuring This Heritage Is Accessible To Current And Future Generations And Organising And Promoting Events Such As Windrush Day, International Women’s Day, And Black History Month, To Honour The Achievements And Resilience Of Black British Communities In Camden.to Advance Education Of Black British History And Its Significance In Camden Through Storytelling, Exhibitions, Cultural Events, And Learning Materials;to Promote Equality And Diversity By Ensuring That Camden’s African And Caribbean British History Is Recognised As An Integral Part Of The Borough’s Cultural Landscape, Contributing To A More Inclusive Narrative;to Promote The Arts By Providing Platforms For Black British Artists, Performers, And Creators To Showcase Their Work And Contribute To Preserving Cultural Traditions.[nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of Theproperty Of The CIO For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable Inaccordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment(scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008]].
