**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN WIRRAL AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IS: TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF BUDGERIGARS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES, OR ILL USAGE BY: A) PROVIDING RESCUE AND REHABILITATION SERVICES FOR BUDGERIGARS; B) PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENT FOR SICK, INJURED, OR DISTRESSED BUDGERIGARS; C) PROMOTING RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP, HUMANE BEHAVIOUR AND APPROPRIATE STANDARDS OF CARE FOR BUDGERIGARS; D) ADVANCING EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO BUDGERIGAR WELFARE, CARE, AND HUSBANDRY IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS; E) FACILITATING REHOMING OF BUDGERIGARS (I.E. ADOPTION) WHERE APPROPRIATE.

**Activities:** For benefit of the public in Wirral and surrounding areas. We promote humane behaviour towards budgerigars by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, and security for budgies who are in need of care/attention due to abandonment, sickness, maltreatment or poor circumstance. We support rehoming of budgies (where appropriate) and to educate the public regarding their welfare.
